Introduction:
First off, thank you to The Chosen Prime for helping me find this figure. It took me a while to acquire it. It's a recolor of Generations Springer, but it does work great as HotRodimus. Looks a lot more like Rodimus once you use a simple backpack modification. I found it on the web way back and will be showing off some pictures on how to do the mod. Please enjoy this simple review.

Articulation:
The Springer mold is one of the best figures that Habro/Takara has produced. I was happily surprised when HotRodimus was initially annouced. The Robot and land vehicle mode suits him well. And being a triple changer just adds more play value. Lots of articulation and lots of variety with posing.

Paint:
In my opinion, the paint on this figure is phenomenal. The color scheme works great. No issues on mine.

Transformation:
The transformation on this figure is very intuitive. If you've handled the Generations Springer, then it should be easy going from one mode to another.

Bottom Line:
I recommend getting this figure, if you have the budget and able to find it for a reasonable amount. I love it and works very well with the other Generations scaled figures. Check out the other pictures below. Until next time.
Backpack Mod
What you need:
- Wings/Blasters from G1 Steeljaw (gold)
- Weapons from IronFactory Drones.
Piece together the smaller guns as shown below
Then add the wings.
Optionally, you can add the big blasters.
Attach the backback onto the back of the figure.
You can the make use of the ports for the weapons as you please.
